Edinburgh SFF

Support and encouragement through all stages of writing.

Edinburgh SFF is a science fiction, fantasy, and horror writing community based in Scotland, with regular write-ins, author events, and an active Discord where writers share work, encouragement, and the occasional existential crisis.

At its core is an active Discord and a regular rhythm of in-person meetups and write-ins across Edinburgh. The community is welcoming, practical, and grounded—built to support diverse voices, encourage steady progress, and give writers the space (and structure) to actually get words on the page.

Our new web site is live!

We've been working hard on a better, brighter site with easier-to-find events, pages for writers in the ESFF community, and much more. As ever this will be ongoing as we try to make the site a hub for all things SFF/H writing...

So, what do you think?
