Lenny Montgomery is the author of the series In Partes Ignotas (into unknown places) - Veritas and Fidelitas are the first two installments, with the third currently being written.
Lenny Montgomery was born in 1982 and grew up in a literary family where storytelling was a natural part of life. Stories were told after dinner, around the campfire, to keep younger siblings on the potty during training...going to the library was important, the family even had their own mobile library stop where they lived in the middle of nowhere. Books were the backdrop to everyday life.
Having begun a journey into a love of reading and storytelling, Lenny began writing stories in earnest in 1987 - writing about teddy bears defending their home against a rat - this developed into historical fiction and then in 2012 into science fiction, corresponding with falling in love with Star Trek.
Now based on the Fife coast, a short train ride from the Edinburgh legacies of Lenny's favourite authors (Walter Scott and Robert Louis Stevenson, among others), Lenny continues working on this series, and has a collection of short Christmas-themed sci-fi stories on the horizon as well as a historical novel that begins in 1914 and follows the journey of two young soldiers on opposite sides of the trenches.
