Our write-ins are dedicated spaces for writers to sit down, focus, and actually get words onto the page.

We try to schedule a write-in every couple of months, depending on other festivals and events.

Most sessions run across a full day and are structured around guided writing sprints with regular breaks. Some people draft novels. Some edit. Some outline. Some spend three hours trying to fix one impossible paragraph.

There’s no pressure to hit a particular word count — the goal is simply to make progress alongside other writers in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.

Our regular write-ins are often attended by twenty or more writers with a wide range of experience levels.
